This song was born from a feeling. From that kind of summer moment when, late in the afternoon, the sun paints the sea gold, the air is warm, and somehow everything is right where it should be.
I tried to capture that mood. It begins quietly, softly, I wanted it not to rush, to let you sink into it and then it builds, and toward the end it reaches for something larger, something uplifting. It was Aïrunlaïr’s beautiful voice that carried the song to places I could never have taken it alone.
The lyrics are about a Spanish summer, the sea, the sunset, dancing on the shore, and that feeling when time stops, because you’re not just in love with the moment, you’ve become love itself.
I don’t know what it will give you. But if you sit down, close your eyes and drift along with us, maybe it will take you too, to the place we brought it from.
